A Federal High Court in Abuja, in the morning of Thursday, November 12, ordered the Department of State Services (DSS) to, within 24 hours, set free Omoyele Sowore, convener of the RevolutionNow movement, who has been in detention for months.

The judge also ordered the DSS to pay the sum of N100, 000 to Sowore for refusing to release him on bail despite two court orders to that effect.

A report by PM NEWS said the order was delivered by Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu, who presided over the case.

The court also adjourned the trial of the case brought against them by the Nigerian Government till December 6 (tomorrow) for continuation.

The court also ordered the release of his ally and co-activist, Olawale Bakare.
