PSG President to Neymar: Nobody Forced You to Sign Here
Paris Saint-Germain chairman and CEO Nasser Al-Khelaifi has warned record signing Neymar that he only wants players who are “willing to give everything for the shirt.”
The Qatari owned club are reportedly not happy with transfer rumours swirling around Neymar and feels the Brazilian owe the club not vice-versa.
In May, French football authorities banned Neymar for three matches after he lashed out at a fan following defeat by Rennes in the Coupe de France final. He was also reportedly involved in a dressing room incident with his team-mates after a loss to Montpellier.
With Real Madrid and Barcelona watching on, Al-Khelaifi fired a warning to the club’s superstars.
“The players are going to have to assume their responsibilities even more than before,” Al-Khelaifi rapped.
“It has to be completely different. They will have to do more, work more. They are not here to have fun.
“And if they don’t agree with this point of view, the doors are open. Ciao!
“I no longer want to have superstar behaviour.”
