France international Moussa Sissoko has joined Tottenham from Newcastle United on a five-year deal.
Sissoko, 27, who has set his sight to leave the Magpies following their relegation from the Premier League and has now secured a move away from St. James’ Park.
Tottenham fought off competition from Everton, have landed Sissoko for a fee believed to be worth up £30m.
In a message to Tottenham fans, Sissoko said: “I’m happy to be here. I will give everything and I hope we can win a lot of games and titles.”
Sissoko has become the third new arrival at White Hart Lane on transfer deadline day, following the earlier signings of Georges-Kevin N’Koudou and Pau Lopez.
