Nigerian Army Ambushes Two Boko Haram Members in Borno
Nigerian army’s Gallant Troops of 112 Task Force Battalion was engaged in a fighting patrol between Bale junction and Ajiri in Borno state on 11 October 2018.
The area is believed to be a sleeper cell of Boko Haram terrorists for hibernating.
The patrol team engaged the terrorists and neutralized two of them, recovering One bicycle, clothing and foodstuffs.
The Chief of army staff, Lt Gen TY Buratai has commended the gallant troops and directed them to intensify patrols in the general area.
