Man Killed As Ebonyi And Cross River Indigenes Clash (Graphic Photos)
The dispute between Yala indigenes in Cross River and people of Izzi, in Ebonyi State appears to have taken a new turn following the gruesome killing of another man in the community.
According to National Helm, the unfortunate incident has made the villagers to accuse governor of cross river state Ben Ayade of doing nothing to stop the longing crisis. According to Reports the conflict was caused by land disputes.
The crisis took a different turn on Monday following an alleged gun attack on a Yala woman by suspected Izzi youths while she was on her way to the farm.
The injured woman, whose identity could not be verified, is alleged to be receiving treatment in an undisclosed medical facility in Yahe, one of the communities in Yala LGA.
It was also gathered that the attack on the farmer at Ukelle was said to have spread to other communities in Yala LGA.
