Iwobi: Arsenal Agrees to Sell Nigerian Attacker to Everton in a Deal Worth up to £34m
Everton have agreed to sign forward Alex Iwobi from Arsenal in a deal worth up to £34m.
A deal sheet is thought to have been submitted to the Premier League for the transfer which will see Everton pay Arsenal an initial £28m, rising to £35m.
The Premier League has stated that six deal sheets were submitted before the 5pm deadline and the clubs working on those deals now have until 7pm to get them over the line.
Iwobi came through the ranks at the Gunners, playing 149 times and scoring 15 goals.
Everton had been trying to sign Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace, but the Eagles’ £80m valuation of the winger put them off.
