Guingamp 0-3 Paris Saint Germain: Neymar On Target In Win
Neymar scored on his Paris St-Germain debut following his world record £200m transfer from Barcelona.
Unai Emery’s side took on Guingamp in their second league match of the season, with Neymar being selected in the starting XI at the Roudourou stadium and scoring on his first appearance for his new team.
Jordan Ikoko opened the scoring with an own goal moments after Neymar’s pass to Edinson Cavani was cut out.
Cavani doubled PSG’s lead guiding his pass beyond the Guingamp goalkeeper Karl-Johan Johnsson.
The 25-year-old Brazil international, who played on the left side but got involved centrally too, had a bright debut with plenty of flicks and tricks – although most of his shots were blocked before his late strike.
PSG are second in the league on six points, behind Lyon on goals scored with Monaco, who thrashed Dijon 4-1 away earlier on Sunday, in third place also on six points.
