Four Cultists Member Murdered as Rival Groups Clash in Bayelsa State

Four cult members have been murdered in a battle between two rival cult groups in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State capital.

Reports have is that the members of one of the rival groups on Friday killed a man identified only as God-do-Well at the Swali Market in the Yenagoa metropolis.

According to the PUNCH, the murder was in retaliation for Thursday’s killing of three of their members by a cult group which God-do-well belonged.

The 34-year-old was attacked by 40 rival cultists left him to die in his pool of blood.I

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Asinim Butswat, said only two suspected cultists were killed in the clash. He added that the police had beefed up security around the market.
