Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Wife Test Positive For COVID-19
Delta State governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, and his wife, Edith, have both tested positive for COVID-19.
The governor announced this on his Twitter handle today, saying he and his wife are well and remain in isolation.
“My wife and I have tested positive for COVID-19. We are well and continuing with our isolation/medication. We thank you all for your continued prayers for us and our daughter”, he wrote.
The governor thanked Deltans for their prayers for his family and called for continued supplications for all patients undergoing treatment for the pandemic.
Also, two top officials of the government had tested positive to the virus recently.
They include the Secretary to the State Government, Chiedu Ebie, and Commissioner for Information, Charles Aniagwu.
