BREAKING: Buhari, Atiku, Others Meet to Sign 2019 National Peace Accord (Photos)
President Muhammadu Buhari and the Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar on Wednesday joined other candidates to sign the second 2019 National Peace Accord in Abuja.
The signing ceremony is set to take place at the International Conference Centre Abuja.
Buhari and Atiku called for free, fair and non-violent elections.
Buhari was accompanied by the APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole and other top government officials while Atiku arrived with Uche Secondus, the National Chairman of the PDP, and the Senate President and Director-General of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, Bukola Saraki, among other party leaders.
Speaking on the need to ensure that the elections are conducted peacefully, Abubakar said: “Don’t do anything to make a bad situation worse.”
