Everton have reached an agreement to sign Morgan Schneiderlin from Manchester United in a deal worth £22m, according to reports.
France international Schneiderlin, 27, was signed for United by Louis van Gaal for £25m from Southampton in July 2015.
Schneiderlin is expected to undergo a medical this week and will be reunited with his former manager Ronald Koeman, under whom he flourished while the pair were together at Southampton.
He has played 47 times for the club but has only featured eight times under Jose Mourinho this season, including three Premier League appearances.
It is understood the fee could rise to £24m with add-ons.
No details,” Mourinho told Sky Sports after goals from Jaun Mata and Marouane Fellaini gave his side a 2-0 win over Hull City in the first-leg of their EFL Cup semi-final.
“But before the match I was informed by [executive vice-chairman] Mr [Ed] Woodward that the situation is close. So Morgan is more than probably going to Everton.”
