Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) outfit, MFM FC have completed the signing of four new players ahead of the 2017 campaign.
A top official of the club told Goal that two of the players are from the NPFL, while the others were bought from the Nigeria National League (NNL) and a non league side.
According to the official, Lobi Stars midfielder, Suleiman Abdullahi has been signed as well as Sunshine Stars’ Gold Busayo.
MFM FC also acquire the services of Ikorodu United’s defender Yakubu Taofeek.
Rookie striker, John Okolie pitched tent with the Olukoya Boys from Messiah FC.
“We are happy to have signed four quality players for the new NPFL season,” the official told Goal.
“It wasn’t an easy decision for the coaches to shortlist these guys and I believe they have made the right choices.”
The official said that they are also looking to add five more players to the squad before the week runs out.
“This is an ambitious club. We want to aspire higher next season. The aim is to add five more players to the team in the next three days.
“The management is committed to supporting coach Fidelis Ilechukwu is his programmes, hence the need to hasten the registration of the new players,” he concluded.
MFM FC are looking to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season which kicks off this weekend.
